CWM8.3 D is a three-way in-wall loudspeaker, conceived to offer the very best performance for a customer requiring great sound without seeing the source. Performance is equivalent to the 804 D4 in-room speaker from the 800 Series Diamond. Its 1-inch tweeter, 5-inch midrange driver and two 7-inch bass drivers deliver clear, dynamic sound, and the stiff yet light construction ensures distortion-free sound. This Bowers & Wilkins in-wall speaker can be used either horizontally or vertically for versatile placement. Use of BB8.3W Back Box is mandatory. Fully Matrix braced, for extra rigidity and improved performance the back boxes feature bi-wireable cables that connect to the baffle electronically with a multi-pin connector. The Bowers & Wilkins CI800 Series Diamond range of custom installation speakers is engineered for discerning customers who demand great hi-fi and home cinema sound from loudspeakers that occupy minimal space. This exceptional range of in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers features all the key transducer technologies developed for the globally renowned 800 Series Diamond including Diamond dome tweeters, Continuum midrange drivers and Aerofoil bass cones. The result is outstanding levels of performance that once again raise the bar for custom installation loudspeakers.

705 S3 is our ultimate 700 Series bookshelf speaker, a no-holds-barred celebration of excellence able to highlight all the subtle nuances in your music that other speakers miss. Its Carbon Dome tweeter is housed in a redesigned Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top enclosure used in 800 Series Diamond products. That joins a subtly curved baffle endowed with a ‘pod’ housing for its Continuum Cone bass/midrange driver, ensuring that you hear less of the speaker’s cabinet, and more of the music you love.

The Klipsch CDT-5800-C II maintains the core technology use of a premium 1” Titanium compression driver (tweeter) mated to an exclusive Tractrix Horn combined with a 6.5” Cerametallic woofer in a 2-way design. Now with a new low-profile, more elegant grille and refinements to both high frequency and low frequency reproduction, it continues as a high-performance choice for everything from 2-channel music playback to full, large room surround sound use.

I’ve had B&W, Klipsch K-Horn, and other higher end speakers and i dont feel any of the others handled the bass response as well as the Reference 5. Sure theres a price to pay but, as with much in life if you want something better than whats readily available youre going to have to pay for it. These are worth every penny. From tonal separation to dynamic dispersion, the ability of these speakers have yet to be fully realized ss I’ve uet to break them in.
