Great for editing
||Posted .Owned for 3 months when reviewed.I use it for video editing and photo editing and for creating objects for 3d printing. I love how you can dial in the sensitivity of the trackball and how you can customize the shortcut buttons on it. It is a bit bulky, so i mainly use it at home. It does fit in my laptop bag and i have traveled with it and have had no problems.

Solid Mouse Alternative When Space is At a Premium
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This solves a too-little desk space problem with my work Dell laptop. It has a good solid feel to it. While I miss some of the multi-finger gestures possible with a trackpad, it's a good alternative to a mouse. Switching between a mouse and the trackball works different parts of the hand and wrist. Using it reminds me of playing Missile Command a long time ago. I'm happy with my purchase.

Amazing :)
||Posted .This is an amazing product. I am a music Producer, recording engineer, and artist that dose a lot of editing from the home and this made the process so much better. the ability to program what each button dose gives you the ability to edit cute and past or do whatever you want to do with the press of a button if your use to a traditional mouse it may take a few days to get use to it but once you do it will be hard to go back.

EXCELLENT
||Posted .In my work as an Air Traffic Controller, I was very familiar with using a slew ball. I have tried other brands but have found that the Kensington trackball is the easiest to use.

Q: QuestionHow do you scroll with this if there is no wheel?
Asked by Cookie.
- A:Answer There is a nurled ring around the actual trackball that controls the scrolling function. Additionally the speed of scrolling can be adjusted using the Trackworks utility that can be downloaded from the Kensington website. It took some to get time to get used to it but I find that I am beginning to get comfortable with it.

Q: QuestionDoes the ball sit on metal or plastic pins. Metal are better as they are always smooth whereas the plastics ones will get sticky over time.
