Purchased this to replace my ice maker from Marvel. This is super quiet and produces clear cubes. The only noise is actually ice cubes dropping and water running. My 7 year old Marvel ice maker made such a loud noise and I am super happy with this.

Works great. Like the included drain pump. Does make noises during operations, not too bad but not whisper quiet. Great addition to our basement remodel.

Easy installation requires hex screwdriver to remove cardboard back panel to connect drain line. This unit comes with the drain pump. Produces a lot of ice quickly and has a party mode to produce even quicker. Quiet operation.

We have installed and operated this ice machine for two weeks now and it's awesome. We replace a GE Monogram Ice machine after 20 years of use. The KitchenAid seem even more solid than the GE Monogram. The door seems heavy and solid. Built well. It makes ice very quickly and quietly. The built-in drain pump is very quiet. I would recommend.

When it works it makes ice well. Handle was loose. Had someone out to fix it. It came loose again so BB replaced the unit. New unit stopped working after a month. (Drain pump failed rendering the unit and in operable). Spent $30k on one order and has every installation problem you could imagine with Best Buy. Logistically they have ZERO idea what they are doing.
