My previous stove and microwave came with the house at the time of purchase. We figure both units to be around three years old. We've been living in our house now for more than 13 years, and I can honestly say there was nothing wrong with either unit. We just thought it was time to upgrade, so we figured to go with the same brand, Kitchen Aid. The one thing I stress, before you do anything, do a burn-in test in the oven at 350 degrees for at least an hour to remove all new pipe residue. And do open some windows because there will be smoke and light fumes. The matching Microwave and Convection oven is a perfect match if you need additional baking space. We bought the combo unit and we're extremely happy with the purchase.

After trying multiple brands. This stove seems to be ok, it did arrive with dents in the side and we had to convert it ourselves to lp which takes a couple hours, I feel it should be done when it arrives for free. I dont think the quality of any appliances are that great anymore. That being said at least the grates on this one doesn't allow the pots and pans to fall over and possibly burn someone like the lg we had before this one. I don't like the fact that simmer is not low enough but it does boil things faster. I like the wide open window view into the oven. The control panel is not just touch activated it must be pushed.

    Worst Oven

The self cleaning feature on this oven is the WORST I have ever experienced. It's called AquaLift. The problem is that it doesn't lift anything. It allegedly cleans your oven in 40 minutes at 200 degrees, instead of the traditional 800 degrees in 8 hours. It does practically nothing. i opened my oven door and it looked almost the same. After doing a Google search on AquaLift, I've found numerous complaints on this inferior technology. Also, this oven does not heat properly. It takes longer to cook everything.

I love the look of my new gas range. It's one of the few more basic models that also has a stainless top which I like the look of. It also heats up true to temp, though it does tell you it's up to temp about 5 minutes before it truly gets there. The one drawback (and maybe this is true of all ranges with metal tops) is that it does get very hot during use. Once I was baking for 4 hours and by the end you could barely touch the front/top of the range. Not sure if this is normal.

The stove and oven are very high quality. The bottom drawer is very cheap and flimsy and seems out of place for such a nice oven. We are not considering returning it's just odd to use that drawer. Maybe it's just very light weight and will prove to be be more durable. I would give five stars if the drawer surprises us with great durability.

We recently purchased this stove/range to replace and old, broken one. So far we are delighted with it! It's taken some getting used to having a stove top with burners that work, and an oven that heats to the correct temperature! The craftsman ship makes it worth the extra cost. It looks great (and I love the large window into the oven!) and is really well made.

Love this gas stove, mostly the fact that the burners will go to a very low simmer and not blow out. Their are only two large grates for easy removal and stove top is pretty easy to clean., the stove has clean lines and looks great in our kitchen. The price point is a bit more that standard stoves, but not over the top and has an upscale look.

It's crazy how more powerful these burners are compared to our old stove. The high setting on our last stove was less powerful than the medium setting on our new range. The griddle is super handy for pancakes and quesadillas. I haven't explored it yet, but I'm sure you could use the griddle to keep burgers or sausages warm with the burner set low enough.
