Get a yoga currently on sale for about $300 off

Great specs. Bought almost a year ago and price is still same, meaning it has good hardware. Did TONS of research on specs and price comparing different models, that was reason I bought it, was trying to future proof it as long as possible for a good price. When I bought mine it was on sale and got it in excellent open box condition, so while it was by FAR the best price for what it has, I didn't do the research based on it's $899 price, so while still not overpriced, I don't know if it's the best model at that price. I have OCD, so took me like 40 hours of research and comparisons to purchase and I did that at the price point I got it on sale and in like new open box condition. In August 2023, I believe even up to $799 it was the best price to spec I saw. I paid less than that even by quite a bit, but at $899 I just didn't look at laptops that price to compare this to, so it probably was eitherclose to or tied for best spec to cost laptop at $900, but then it's more about which specs, brands, features are more important to u when all similar price. I will say to help people out there laptop hunting, unless u are very familiar with what all the specs, numbers, and letters mean, don't buy a computer on Amazon, really any laptop, cell phone, tablet, desktop, or most electronics especially where u have Lenovo yoga 7 or dell inspiron type products that look same or similar. Ex, an Intel i9 13900 in one and an Intel i3 3220 in other but laptop brand, model, screen size, are all the same will be why Amazon laptop is way cheaper, but one processor is top Intel line and released in last year, where other is bottom of line Intel and like 15 years old, but the laptop itself is same. So one will be amazing and one will be basically an expensive paper weight. Amazon sellers love that they can take basically shells and modify insides with old and cheap hardware and sell it as the new 2024 model. Or put a lot of specs on page but leave out things, example, nits (screen brightness) or try word it so the memory or ram makes it look like it's a laptop when it's just a Chromebook. They put the newer parts in it that are cheap as well to make u believe if shell is new and these 2 parts are new, the whole thing must be all new up to date and hope it sells u or u don't look any further into it. So back to Lenovo, the biggest 2 drawbacks I could see at that price, and I'm getting very nitpicky here to find things, are the size and storage. I like that it's 13.3 inches cuz it's lighter to carry and I can see stuff behind or around it easier like my drink, the TV, or papers moved around, but some people like a bigger screen. And 512gb is plenty for a very high % of people, it's way too much for me, but 512gb is what I want to keep my computer fast and efficient for over a decade. A few people may need more, but storage can also be added or switched to make this doubled or more as well. I like the color that it's different, nice, and dark to not show imperfections down road as much, but it's not black a lot of laptops and especially in Florida black absorbs a little more heat than this. Has backlit key, brighter screen or as bright as any laptop under $1000. Actually just saw the 16 inch with Intel 5 for $599 on sale on Best buy, which is only $80 more than I paid, but is new, is 2 inches bigger, and the Intel processor gets slightly better benchmark scores. Though the 2 processors are similar depending on what u use laptop for would matter as to whether ryzen or Intel is better for u. If I needed a laptop would definitely get one q yoga on sale right now for $250-$350 of depending on model.

    Compact, fast, sturdy

Excellent computer, compact, sturdy feel, works fast. I bought the pen as well, I really like it. More importantly my daughter likes the look and feel and speed. We bought it together for her to use in college.

    Expectations Exceeded

After my previous laptop suffered from hardware failure, i decided to upgrade and figured I'd give this Lenovo one a try. 16gb of ram and the touch screen have been wonderful to me thus far, and the setup of all my settings and files was easy and straightforward. Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially for work or college students.
