If you are looking for an ULTRA PREMIUM laptop then this will please even the pickiest of enthusiasts. The screen is the best I've ever seen, even better than the Samsung QLED laptop display, the keyboard is excellent if you don't mind not so long key travel and it has a very positive click, the sound is AMAZING and easily the best sounding Windows laptop I have ever heard, I was stunned by the full sound, the trackpad works perfectly and the laptop is VERY fast even in battery saver mode. Oh yeah, the leather on top is gorgeous! I AM IMPRESSED!! The only nitpick I have of this laptop is the edges of the trackpad is a very thin groove cut into the glass that I can barely feel so it's easy to go over the edge of the trackpad, I have put carbon fiber decals on both sides of the trackpad on the wrist rests and now I can easily feel the edges and it looks AWESOME :D Takes care of them nasty finger smudges too.

Everything is good, very nice screen, good speakers, very nice touchpad, good cpu and RAM--except poor wifi connection. I cannot use a laptop with wifi disconnection from time to time. So I returned it. I am not sure it is just my item or this is a fundamental problem for all machines.

I came from an older X1 carbon, and find this to be an excellent upgrade. The build quality feels very solid, the fan is nice and quiet even under moderate load, and the display is beautiful. I've never heard such good sound quality from a laptop. I keep it around 40-50% volume level which is perfect. The trackpad does take some getting used to, but is fine once you've used it for a while. It would be nice if the fingerprint reader was easier to find - perhaps if they had a little raised lip around it then it would be easier/quicker to use. Overall, great laptop.

The leather cover adds a level of class and warmth during a cold Wisconsin winter. The glass TouchPad and palm rest took two days to get used to. The finger print reader requires a bit more pressure than expected. Will try to reset and see if that fixes it. Having been a user of SurfacePro Touch Keyboards, this one is not too shallow. The screen has real good color, blacks are not too dark like an AMOLED gives. 500 nits is bright. If kept at 50%, I get 7-9 hours battery life. Not bad for an i7 and 4K screen. When set to battery sipping, I can squeeze out a bit more than nine hours. The pen is ok. A bit thin for long term use. I am not an artist, so, it is perfect form my needs. I would recommend this for anyone looking for something not in the usual all metal form factor.

Good product. Many iterations of the 9i. I purchased the shadow black, 512 ssd, 16 Kevin Greene ram, intel core i7 1185g7, uhd 4k 14" display. Open box satisfactory; lucked out, very good condition@Tustin, CA Best Buy. Have had it for 9 days. Everything ok so far(as I knock on the granite countertop and cross my fingers and toes). There is one BUT however: the fingerprint reader on the shadow black units are ultrasonic, mine is very finicky. Don't know if they are all like this or maybe just mine(could be why it was open box returned; the previous owner may have become frustrated and returned it). Everything else works like a champ. Will give an update in the near future. The good: up to date with two usb C thunderbolt 4 ports, and one usb A port that is gen 3.2. These are the latest versions of the usb C and A. Many vendors only offering usb C non thunderbolt 3 or 4, and usb A 3.0; so, caveat emptor when comparison shopping. I'm too tired to write any more...

I recently purchased the Yoga 9i laptop. I’ve used this PC everyday 10+ hours for work over the past month. The build quality is second to none. I am very impressed by the 11th gen i7 processor. Comparing to the 920 & 940, this PC is definitely superior. The glass trackpad and leather lid are beautiful touches. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a high performance ultrabook. Lenovo hit it out of the park!

I was a little concerned looking at the reviews but the laptop is good and checks all boxes for a good price. Couple things to note: 1. The wi-fi signal seems weak (fewer bars on taskbar), but the connection is actually good.. so I believe this is a non-issue 2. The laptop charges blazingly fast under 45 ins for a full charge for my days work. 3. The battery life is good. I don't watch a lot of views on high brightness. The concerns i have is: 1. The charger gets really hot while charging, not sure if it is because it tends to charge very fast.. but lets hope this is not a issue. 2. The trackpad is sensitive, and i would love they go back to manual click, rather than haptic feedback.

This is the first Yoga I've purchased that I was dissatisfied with, and it's a real letdown. Like Yogas before it (this is my fourth now) it's fairly fast and works as a 2-1. The pen feature is good, and overall it performs. However, the trackpad makes almost any basic task more complicated than it should be, and in some circumstances, it's borderline unusable. Before you buy it, just google 9i trackpad and you will see what I mean. It takes excessive force to register a click and the surface is too slick making it tough to navigate. I've been relegated to connecting this to my work screen or having bring a mouse with me wherever I go. This is one of those cases where the design flaw creates a lack or practicality that simply isn't worth sacrificing for any kind of performance advantages. It has a very confusing layout, and the developers tried to get too cute here.
