This is a decent show the only thing I didn't like if they didn't make any more after season 1 hope they make the rest of them sometime soon

Being a fan of lovecraftian themes and cosmic horror I went into this knowing very little, mainly that it was based on a novel, and set in Jim Crow era america. I overall found it engaging, but, at times the inheritable evils of how whites were portrayed got a little stale. It was accurate in most cases but to an over-exaggerated state. Still, if you can look past those repetitive story aspects and enjoy it for a story of magic, history, and the perseverance of good VS. evil than you may like this.
