John McNaughton's underrated comedy Mad Dog and Glory comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The disc does a solid job of capturing Robert Müller's cinematography. English, French, and Spanish soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. English and French subtitles are accessible. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence. Mad Dog and Glory, which had fallen out of print, features unusual turns from each member of its impressive cast, as well as a typically excellent script from Richard Price, making this disc worthwhile even without a wealth of extras.
