Great sub box. Let me say that it’s a 5/8” MDF. Not a problem. Built solid and nicely carpeted. I made some modifications. I added some polyfill, not much, just lined the walls. I also swapped out the terminals(had to shave a little off the sides) along with the inside speaker wire to a 12awg. My speaker wire is larger so I need a sturdier terminal. I also got a 3-bar grill for this. This box represents a great value. Sure, there are others out there. This one is inexpensive and built well. I prefer a sealed box and this was on average about $20 less than the next comparable box. I Loaded a JL 10W0V3. I don’t think I could make it sound better. Hits hard and bass is smooth. I don’t turn it up too loud but I can shake my house if I want to.
