A: Just get him a quest 2 this one is geared towards working and a much cheaper quest 3 will be releasing in about a year as well
A: Yes. The graphics are better and the controllers are more accurate for gaming….with the same titles as the Quest 2. On PC based VR the difference is staggeringly better.
A: There is a full face gasket that's an option, but it's not available until December. You don't need it though. Everything is in the box to get started. If you want to play PC VR games you might want to get a USB c link cable. Lots of information on link cable and optional face gasket on YouTube.
Q: Do you need a computer to run the quest pro
A: No, like the Quest 2 you do not need a computer to run it, but if you own one you get some added benefits. Running more power-hungry applications or installing apps that wouldn't be installable from the quest store. You would also lose out on some features from apps that can only be used on the computer. this device is not for gaming and more for work.
A: 256GB….more than enough to store all of my purchased apps (30+) and make recordings with room to spare.
