I didn't pay the retail price like most others, I price matched and got this for $3.99. I ended up paying just over $8 for two. This is exactly what I needed and have my harness all hooked up. I got my headunit from bestbuy through ebay. Fatwallet lead me to the headunit which was 50% off. It's a Pioneer DEH-X3600UI and I paid $50 for it. The next thing I need for my new headunit is an antenna adapter which I plan on price matching as well. I should end up paying just over $3 for it instead of the 17.99 retail. I have a 1994 Chevy Cheyenne C2500. Do yourself a favor and check out the price match section of this website. You'll need proof of the price you're trying to get it for so said the link to your e-mail or bookmark it, if you have any questions just call bestbuy and ask them what you need to do exactly, to ensure you get the price matched.

Replacing the factory stereo unit in my 2002 Tahoe with an aftermarket unit. This product made installation a breeze, as all the wires matched that diagrams. Bought some Barrow Connectors, a crimping tool (previously used channel lock pliers), cut, stripped and splice wires. No issues. It helped that the installation professional at the Savannah, GA Bestbuy, told me that if I did not have sound to connect the orange wire. Initially, I did not have sound and his information saved me a lot of frustration.

Not the right adapter for a 2004 GMC Sierra

Took back for a refund, was NOT the correct harness for a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 K 4x4 Truck. I used the factory supplied connector that came with the radio, and simply ran new wires to the various speakers, power and acc sources. Good think I know a little about wiring, or it would have been a trip to the GEEKSQD and $100+ for an instillation.

My 2001 Chevrolet Silverado was having its original radio replaced and I thought I would install the new radio unit. The connector seemed like the only logical way to help complete the process and I purchased it at Best Buy. The install was done by Best Buy and the mini connection wire harness was used by installer.

This was recommended to me by Markeyes, the Geek Squad guy for Autos. It was the perfect connector that streamlined and simplified the installation process. The cables, wires, connections were flush and clean. There was no static or problems with the sound. It is always best to use the right parts. This was made for GM and works very well.

You need it when changing out an older unit.

When changing units like I did, from a 1998 GMC radio to a 2017 Alpine satellite/regular broadcast radio unit, things change in 20 years, so plan to buy one, as a precaution. If you don't need it, get a refund from Best Buy. Plus it is not at an exorbitant price. In my case it was needed.

This radio is short on apps like Pandora but will still charge a smart phone and play music from the built in app. There's no CD player which is fine for the younger generation because they have no CDs anyways. It comes with a basic remote and the phone controls work well.

Wow, could not be easier. All the wires were coded the same as the vehicle. Get some small connectors as they are to included. Also, when dealing with a GM that has an amplifier, you need to attach the Blue Antennae control lead to the pink on the vehicle.
