Satisfied with the product
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This thing is magnificent. I actually got the surface pro first but I didn’t satisfy with the quality so I paid more and exchanged with this studio. And I just did the right thing.

It's Cool, Does the Job. $500 overpriced
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed. The i5 and Iris Xe are a decent combination together. You can edit wix, webflow, wordpress, drupal, divi, and etc. Run desktop software for photo/video editing no problems. My other Legion 5 with a ryzen 7 rtx 3050ti 8gb outperforms this surface by about a second on most loads. It was also on sale for $949 so about $450 cheaper. So I'd say perfomance meet color, versatility, and color spec vs price it's still overpriced. I am able to have multiple browser tabs open whenever I have client run remote desktop (screen shares) open for trouble shooting or quick projects. Seems like cheap charging cord with only 65w. I guess thats all it can handle? But I can forsee this cord getting pinched and broke. Only comes with two usb c thunderbolt ports so basically the additional docking station is a must. Priced at over $100 but I say it's worth it! Same with getting the surface mouse ($34). It syncs automatically with the device. No usb or having to go into bluetooth settings, it just turns right on out of the box like they were meant to be together (they are). Smooth aluminium finish. Weight doesn't bother me, rather I feel it gives it a sturdier more tuffness to it. Doesnt make it seem so brittle for as flimsy as it needs to be for the flexibility. It's worth it all in all in the long run that is if I can upgrade the graphics card myself. I'll be finding out.

Pretty neat
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. The positive: I love all the different angles and the touch screen is a major plus! The size is just right for travel in a small backpack. The negitive: the charger has trouble staying in tact its very fragile, the angle for when you use for when you cover the keyboard is making a ugle blackmark on my device.. it will probably just get worse from it constantly being used..and the last thing that bugs me is that there is no other volume control on the outside.. so you have to constantly lift the screen up to get to that on the keyboardto acsess the volume controls. really annoying when trying to watch netflix or movies..

Truly, what do you as a consumer need it for?
||Posted .I bought this, despite the premium, for photo/video editing and aesthetics. I came from a gaming laptop that had a 2080 GPU. I wish this laptop came out with more than 4 cores & 8 threads (for future proofing reasons); but I'm sure it is in order to open up more models in the future (that's the name of the game). Solid (like a tank) laptop and more than capable of doing what the average (whatever that means) person needs - enough to be your only device for computing on the go or as a desktop at home (with connected peripherals). 4 stars really is for not being future proof; however, I'm at the point, during this time, where aesthetics and usefulness for photography/videography are my priorities on the go - where I don't have to lug around a massive laptop. I have a 5950x CPU and 3080 suite at home. So this, with my lifestyle, compliments the powerhouse I have at home, for when I travel. -- I trust this device and it hasn't let me down. *More capabilities than limitations. I recommend this, but look around before jumping on this device.

Terrific All-Around Machine
||Posted .Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This is an excellent all-around laptop, I've had it since October 2021. This laptop provides high quality visuals, is excellent for Xbox and PlayStation streaming services, and YouTube as well. The ability to provide different watching views is certainly a strength of the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio.

Microsoft Surface Studio Laptop
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I must admit that I have been a MACBOOK user since I have been using a computer. I went into Best Buy Store asking what computer would be comparable to the MAC without the high price tag. Microsoft Surface has proven to be true to my needs in a computer. What makes it better in my opinion is the price and features of price, flexibility, touch screen and safety protection. I would definitely recommend the Microsoft Surface.

Q: QuestionIs there a fan in this model and if so when does it kick in? I have yet to hear it on mine.
Asked by eljeffe58.
- A:Answer Yes. The Laptop Studio’s fan layout is rather strange, though. Unlike most laptops, which have their fans toward the back of the computer to blow air away from you, the Studio’s are in the front half of the bottom deck. They exhaust on each side of the computer — when it’s under load, you can feel quite a bit of warm air shooting out the sides. Most of the time, the fans are quiet and dormant, so unless you’re playing a game or running an intensive application, you won’t even notice them. Even under load, the Laptop Studio’s fans are nowhere near as loud as a typical gaming laptop, either.
