Description
Kit (Henry Golding) flies to Saigon to scatter the ashes of his departed parents. Having grown up in the U.K., he recalls scant memories as a child escaping the horrors of war as he returns to a country he hasn’t seen since he was eight. He can also barely speak the language now, and he’s trying to adjust and reconcile his identity with these surroundings. He hooks up with an American, Lewis (Parker Sawyers), whose father was a Vietnam War vet. They later become friends and lovers, processing their respective heritage with their current sentiments. Directed by Hong Khaou.~Olivia Cantor
