PopSockets - PopGrip Cell Phone Grip and Stand - Black

At first I was hesitant to even get one for my phone.:. Thinking that it’s to big and it will go away after a few months or after a few years… plus it sticks out on the back of your phone or phone case… Welll I was right, it does stick out on the back, BUT it actually wasn’t that bad…. And then after going through several types/kinds of “ring phone holders”, that I really do prefer (ring holders are only good for a few weeks, until the pins on it started to get loose and eventually cannot use it as a stand anymore),,,, I’ve decided to try this… with my new iPhone 13 Pro Max, (but mind you I got a ring holder first before I bought this one, and I bought that ring holder in April, and it is just June when I switched to a pop socket). The pop socket really does work great, especially that I do not have to permanently stick it on the back of my phone or it’s case…. Thank god to the MagSafe pop socket plate and of course the pop socket… now I can take the plate from my case without any worries in damaging or scratching my phone/case… The only wish I could add/change to the pop socket is to make it extend it upwards, because it is kind of tight in between my fingers… which at time tends to get annoying…. BUT overall….great new way to really hold and not drop your phone and possibly break it or crack the front of the outrageous prices of smart phones…. I guess I’d be buying and using pop scores now over any other ring holder phones… (NOTE: The last photo where the pop socket holder in between my fingers is the only complaint I have because it really stretches out the skin which tend to be annoying sometimes and also can be painful if holding the phone too long- see how far apart this two fingers really are away from each other…)

I had been seeing these on people’s phones for quite some time, but even on the phones of adults I am acquainted with - they all are rather obsessed with selfies. So, I never looked into one much. Until, I bought a bigger phone to help with my middle-aged decline of close vision. I had the toughest time holding the phone for certain things - including taking one-handed pictures for auction items and such. These were on sale prior to Christmas, so I spent my Rewards card on a few for the family. I LOVE this thing. The first position I placed it didn’t work as well as I had hoped - I had placed it a little too far up for the weight of the phone. Thought once it was plucked off and placed elsewhere, it surely wasn’t going to stick again on a silicone case that has some texture. Researched how to wet it, dry it only for a certain time before reattaching - no problem and it’s held well. It isn’t the most attractive one - the one I purchased that was on sale - but, guessing that’s why it was quite a bit cheaper than other designs :) Don’t care because it’s practical and works.

Got it for super cheap and it was totally worth it. My samsung s20u was too big and heavy for the popsocket otterbox stand to hold it up on its side but switching the top with this one on the case made it stable because of the thicker edge so it now stands up without any problem. It also stills fits in the mounts I got for them. The top was a bit hard to remove as the record part spins but it was worth the effort to get it on my phone case. I love spinning it and the texture is fun with the grooves. I'm not worried about scratching it either as it will just make it look like a poorly treated vintage record. My favorite so far, even my SO was jealous.

Well, I finally caved and got one. I thought it was a stupid fad and would pass, but phones are huge these days and these things are really great. I even found out it’s juuust smaller than a POG so I glued one of my old slammers to it. The only bad thing about them is that they stick out and catch on your pocket sometimes. But, it’s better than not having it and fumbling your $1k phone!

Absolutely love the aesthetic of this! Not only does it function as a pop socket and what we all know they do, but with the beautiful shiny beads, glitter and stars inside it also works as a bit of a fidget toy. Keeps my hands busy when anxiety hits or when I am waiting in line some place or just out and about. It’s truly beautiful and by far the cutest pop socket I’ve had yet! It also hold quite a grip on my iPhone case. With this said def make sure you really made up your mind with the phone case you’ve decided to put this on because it will really be stuck on there. I don’t see this as a con. I love this! Makes my phone feel extra safe when I am popping the socket in and out. Extremely happy with my purchase!

So I already had the Kate spade Phone case in my actual cart and when I was looking for a pop socket to match I assumed that Kate spade would have it ( they did not) I was amazed that Best Buy had this brand that literally looks the exact same as the phone case. I was even more excited to see the low price. It holds up very well ( I mess with my phone a lot ) throw it, spin it, and this thing does not budge, amazing. Definitely worth the price and look at the picture yourself. It’s like it was made to be paired with this case. Total score if you ask me.

I was never a pop socket person but once you use one you realize why they’re so popular. Using two might seem like overkill but t means maximum comfort and versatility while holding a device.

Sparkly and sticks on really well! I’ve had this on for about 3 months now and its still hanging on super strong. Easy to pop out and in, sturdy unlike most flimsy ones. In my pictures, its not as sparkly BUT its because I've been cleaning it often with disinfectants and bleach. I’m surprised it looks as good as it does honestly. Pre-covid, it would be shining like new. Regardless, I love it.
