Hi there. Thank you for your question! Technically, if you change any of the internal parts out, it can void both the manufacturer warranty and the Geek Squad Protection. In this case, we'd definitely want to be sure on it. It's possible that the Geek Squad Protection would just no longer cover your new RAM, since it would be aftermarket.
