I keep mine plugged in unless traveling and I haven’t noticed anything to say it weakens the battery or anything else negative.

It is best practice to cycle the battery. Don't let it get too low. It will likely shut down if too low. Cycling prolongs battery life. Constant charge will not harm your pc but better to cycle. It will last longer.
