Yes, this laptop has a WiFi network card in it, so it can wirelessly connect to networks. However, this model is equipped with a single-antenna, b/g/n network card, so it can only identify and connect to 2.4ghz wifi networks. It can't see or connect to 5ghz (much faster) wifi networks. I'm not sure if this model has an additional antenna and can accept an upgraded a/b/g/n network card.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bought this today, one issue is that it won't connect to 5hz, just got off of chat with HP, I am really upset this is otherwise a nice system or the money. Unacceptable for 2018. i really upset since I spent time setting the system up and debloating it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Completely untrue. This is a single band wifi card. 2.4 only. :(
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has wifi, and hopefully if you purchase one the wifi antenna will actually work. Mine purchased yesterday will not connect to wifi, it sees the network with very low signal even when very close to the access point. Ran through the usual updates, still same issue, so I am guessing its a hardware issue. HP recommended exchanging, not sure if thats worth it, based on this apparent lack of qc at hp.
