• Yes, you can add an external WiFi adapter to enable you to use the 5GHz band.

You can get more information from the maintenance and service guide located here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06147959 We recommend your local geek squad or other HP Authorized Service Center to perform any upgrades as the Manufacturers warranty does not cover damage from improper installation.
