We purchased this for our 9-year-old son. He enjoys Minecraft and other downloadable games. He has been able to download pretty much everything he wants with ease, although Minecraft has some issues. He also uses it for school programs, ie math and reading games recommended by his teacher. This PC functions just like a laptop, even better in my opinion, but has 1TB of space, which is more than enough for school documents, games, photos, etc. Hope this helps!

The image quality is outstanding, the functionality is simple enough for a young child. I plan on purchasing another one for my 15 year old daughter.
