technically yes, but you would want to also add a center channel for your vocals. Technically you can build out a 4.1 channel system, but not arr receivers support that. Also, I personally would recommend using this kit for your rears rather than your fronts. The size of the speakers lend themselves t that application. Another recommendation though would be to purchase the acoustimass 10 that comes with the full 5.1 setup. This would be cheaper overall. adding 3 speakers will easily push you over the $1,000 price point unless you go with super cheap stuff from Polk or Sony. Realistically, you want all your speakers performing at the same level if possible.
