Can you use your Honda remote with this system? I'm not sure. But I do believe you can use this Viper remote instead of the Honda one. I would check with your local best buy installer. So far I've installed this system in a 2011 Mazda 6, a 2015 Honda Civic, and a 2016 Toyota 4Runner and it works significantly better (distance/ response) than the auto manufacturer versions. This system also offers an upgraded version allowing you to control the car from your smart phone. I personally will stick with the Viper systems as long as they continue producing them. Good luck!
