Hi there. Thank you for your great questions! It's an awesome controller! We will honor the warranty in every Best Buy even if you bought it online, absolutely. If for some reason we don't have any in stock, we'll put the amount you paid onto a gift card to go towards a different model or purchase altogether. I hope this helps out.
