• Depending on what store you go to and what manager you speak with that answer could be tricky sometimes they'll cover the cost for you and if you're a Best buy member they might just give you a free pair all over again. But once again I'm not sure so it's best to ask someone from the Geek team

• No, extended warranty only covers defective or product failure not stolen or lost, youd have to get insurance and i dont think that exists unless you have home owners insurance
