Please try again later.The Geek Squad Protection contract covers all "electronics, computers/portable computing devices, contract and non-contract based mobile devices and major appliances, including parts and labor to repair the product" purchased from BestBuy. So, to say "unless the Geek Squad Protection is purchased on the specific product, it is not covered" is totally in error. The coverage purchased through Geek Squad covers all the categories stated above when purchased from BestBuy.
