As far as the warranty service is the Best you never pay a penny unless you have to have the entire tv replaced then on the new tv you have to re purchase the warranty

A:AnswerNo...they don't come out to check the TV. In my case I simply told them about the grid lines showing up in the picture and they took action based on that alone. In both cases i was given back the total amount I spent on the tv which I then purchased a new TV. I was also allowed to keep the failing tv until the screens went totally black.
