I'm pretty sure they will but I wouldn't explain to them what happened. Just tell them something is wrong with your T.V and that's it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This same thing happened to me... about 2 weeks after I purchased the tv with a 5yr warranty. They came out took a quick look and we were firmly denied. If there is any evidence of damage that the free warranty through LG doesn’t already cover, neither will Best Buy. No reason to buy the warranty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.BB and the GeekSquad will do EVERYTHING they can to wiggle out of ANY warranty replacement support. Future buyers beware, don't waste your money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, I just took my tv back which had a internal screen damage and they told me that the warranty doesn’t cover screen damage and I would have to pay for a whole new tv
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Warranty’s on TVs do not cover physical damage
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope! Basically it only covers malfunctions not caused by the user. Totally worthless in my opinion. Beyond frustrated and feel like my money was taken for nothing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.More than likely. Just say something is wrong with it. Not damaged by you
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Best Buy does not cover accidental damage. DO NOT BUY A TV FROM BEST BUY!! I got screwed too. Find a TV with a warranty that covers accidental customer damage, usually offered by an independent seller like Beach Buy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you tell them that you physically damaged the TV, then that's on you.... The warranty is meant to cover things that are out of your control, like part failures, power surges, etc. If your kid hit the TV, that's not Best Buy's fault... Sorry, but that's how they'll see it. Your best bet in a situation like this is to just tell them that the TV isn't working correctly, WITHOUT mentioning the whole thing with your child. If you admit fault, you basically give them every reason they need to deny the claim.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My grandson did same thing with his new tv. We bought five year warranty but it didn’t cover accidents. They then tried to sell me a different warranty for 200.00. That was more than the ty cost. I won’t buy anymore warranties or really any big items from them again.
