Hi Treehugger - GE Profile™ 2.2 Cu. Ft. Countertop Sensor Microwave Oven Model # PES7227SLSS is designed for countertop use. This model is not compatible with a trim kit. The "built-in ready" model is GE Profile™ 2.2 Cu. Ft. Built-In Sensor Microwave Oven Model # PEB7227ANDD. This model is compatible with 27" Trim Kit JX7227SLSS (Stainless steel) and 30" Trim Kit JX7230SLSS (Stainless steel). Trim Kits are sold separately. Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com. Sue
