Hi, Russ! This microwave has two trim kits compatible. The NN-TK922S requires a cabinet opening (W x H x D) of 25 1⁄2” x 17 3⁄8” x 21”. The NN-TK922S requires an opening (W x H x D) of 28 1⁄2” x 17 3⁄8” x 21”. The height of the microwave is 14", it's not possible to have a trim kit that is smaller than that. -M
