“Does the lid have a seal or inner ring to seal & secure it?”

• No. The glass lid close the jar only by resting on top; no turning, no inner ring to seal the lid. This is the reason I returned it.

• No it does not have a seal of any kind. It just sets on top. I wish it had a seal though. I thought it did when I bought mine.

• I have the one gallon jars and they did not come with any seal or gasket on the lid. It's glass on glass.
