I bought a tv from Best Buy and when they were asking if I wanted to add geek squad protection I asked if it would cover accidental damages to the screen. They said yes. Well here we are. The screen was accidentally damaged by one of my kids and I called and they told me this kind of damage was not covered under the extra protection I purchased. So I paid for that extra coverage for nothing. Even though I was told by an employee it was covered.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not covering a small cracked tv when the owner pays for coverage for everything that should be included besides paying for the tv, is a bunch of bologna!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope. Learned the hard way. Was told the damage protection covered everything. Paid Best Buy to install a tv I purchased from them. They bent the tv frame mounting the tv. I spent an entire month getting the runaround jumping through hoops, bouncing from employee to employee, manager to manager. They said because I signed the release after the install and didn’t notice the bend in the frame initially that they would not replace. I also had the protection plan and they refused to replace. Dropped tens of thousands of dollars at Best Buy over the years. I’ll never shop at Best Buy ever again. Lost a customer for life.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No , no screen coverage and the insurance they offer is worthless and no better than the factory insurance. Wong place to buy a TV too, overpriced and sorry service.....on the phone support Indi or Pakistani, had to understand.....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just chatted with an “expert” on 11/27/2024 asking about the geek squad protection program because we were looking into buying a new tv. They told me accidental damage was covered. Good thing I looked into it more!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same happened to me there is no point of paying protection from geek squad. They say everything covered. But when you went for claim they say physical damage is not covered. Scam
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope. My $600 tv with the additional coverage for $200ish was not covered and I was told it would be $1,100 to fix it…..$1,100 for a 3 year old tv. Oh! And the labor would be another $200. Wow, apparently they don’t sell the tvs for enough money and have to make it up somewhere else. You can’t make these numbers up!
