Let me go with an assumption that either you do not or did not have parts that normally come with trim kit at time of purchase or something changed at the location where you normally place the Microwave resulting in recalibration of install of microwave and associated measurements.
If my assumption is correct, I suggest going with both upper and lower brackets as this will make the trim and looks secure and sturdy. There is trim model JX7227SLSS that you can try but a word of caution that it is for 27 inch microwave depth. Ultimately, any trim will need to align ‘exactly’ with your microwave measurements and obviously your need/preference on look and feel.
