Did you ever figure this out?? Mine is turning on woth dim light on screen but not loading up...

This might sound like a dumb response, but have you tried the power button on the side? It is located next to the USB ports on the side. Also, the power button is a little laggy, so be sure to wait a few seconds for it to respond when turning on or off.
