The speakers will mute when headphones are plugged in, there is no way too prevent mute
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.when you plug the headphones in, a box appears on the screen asking if you want to turn off the system speakers. You can have both on at the same time the only issue is that the volume output on the built in speakers is much louder than the headphones. If you have a volume control on the headphones no problem (i.e. external speakers).
