• A:Answer The best way to go, is go to best buy and purchase a Total Tech support package. For $200 dollars and all car audio installations are no charge.I had 2 amps a 2 channel and 4 channel amp a subwoofer 4 door speakers and a set of tweeters. He built me a amp rack did a beautifull job being a Total Tech support member it saved me $600.00 dollars

Q: QuestionDo I have to buy the amp from Best Buy ?I was given a 4-channel JBL amp and want to know if you would install it into my 2011 GMC Terrain. I understand the install price plus hardware I would be responsible for.

Q: QuestionSo if I provide the amp and I already installed new speakers myself, does this service include the installation of the amp and the connection of the amp to the speakers?

Q: QuestionAfter I self install after-market stereo and 4 after-market speakers can you install 4 channel amp which I bought at Best Buy 7 years ago? I realize it will cost probably $150ish. I bought the whole system there but re-installation plan has expired.

• A:Answer Hello Erin- Really it is hard to say what we're able to add on without first looking at the workmanship prior to the installation. I'd recommend stopping by your local Best Buy to speak with a Geek Squad Autotech. It is completely possible and I do hope you're able to get this taken care of, but I would feel more comfortable knowing one of our Autotechs has personally had the time to see the product you're wanting installed, and the connections behind the radio, before providing any estimates.

Q: Questionif i buy an amp from bestbuy that is over $99, is the installation included for free?

• A:Answer Hi Johnny. Thanks for your question. At this moment, there doesn't seem to be any promotion for free installs on amplifiers. We do sometimes have this kind of promotion for stereo installations when the unit is above $99. Q: QuestionDo you have any guess as to when you will be able to install amplifiers again (due to Covid-19)? I live in Hudson, WI and would be happy to go to whichever facility you intend to open first.

Recently, we partially opened 200+ of our stores back up to the public. We're taking it slow both for you and our employees.
