I hooked the rocket fish up to my Samsung tv. Even with the rocket fish turned on the tv says the device is off. It does this on all ports I've tried. I know the devices I have plugged into the rocket fish are on but it still won't register on my tv. null

Make sure that the CEC setting is turned on in the menu settings of your TV. I hope that helps.

This happens to me with my LG Projector hooked up to the switch. I fixed it by turning the switch off and on again then the projector will recognize the input.

How old is your tv if you don't mind me asking? And we're was that HDMI slot working before? If so, could be that the HDMI slot on the TV unfortunately died out which happened to me on my Samsung. They said they could replace but it was more expensive then me buying a new tv, which I did at Best buy when TV's were on sale.
