I hear that slpitting the HDMI on X1 box can be tricky, but will the Rockfish work and compliant.”

• This unit works on my Xbox 360 and Xbox One in full 1080p to my Yahama HDMI when in turn passes through to my HDTV. However, for 1080p connectivity, you MUST use and plug in and use this HDMI switchbox's INCLUDED external power adapter. The reason is, newer HD devices like Xbox1/PS4 require "Active" HDMI connection and is normal that any HDMI switchbox would require external power to work at 1080p.

• This does not split the signal it lets you plug multiple devices into 1 hdmi input. You need an hdmi splitter which should work.

• The Rockfish splitter works great. I am using it with success with my own Comcast cable.

• The RF- G1282 (SKU: 1224493) HDMI splitter should work but please note that some cable boxes limit this.
