• No, this device will allow you to select (choose among) several HDMI connected devices to a single TV. For example, if you have cable or satellite, a PS3 and and XBOX One, but your TV only supports two HDMI connections, this device will allow all three of the devices listed in this example to be connected to the TV and allow you to choose which one at a given time is displayed on the connected TV.
