“Connecting a soundbar (Samsung) I have a 2 HDMI (In/Out) LG TV. I want to connect a soundbar. To get the sound, the soundbar must be the cable feed then into the monitor. This would require the cable to feed into the soundbar then to the monitor. When I do this nothing works. Which ports would I use? I have two other devices connected. Everything works without the soundbar.”

Usually you have to tell the TV to use external speakers in the menu.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You only need one cable for this. HDMI is an all in one solution. There should be no need for 2 HDMI cables to connect your sound bar. And no do not feed the cable to the soundbar, feed the cable to the television and then use an HDMI (just one) to the sound bar, that should fix your problem
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't believe this device will work for this setup. This device simply takes 4 different HDMI input signals, and outputs it to one HDMI device (usually a TV or monitor), then allows you to change the inputs and what is displayed on the monitor.
