Your TV has probably CEC enabled. This feature allows devices with CEC to communicate with each other, so when the TV turns off, it tells the switch to turn off as well. In order to stop this, you will need to disable the CEC controls. You will probably have to go under the settings and browse there to see if you can find CEC options.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It would have to be a setting on the TV itself. i would check the CEC settings on the TV and make sure they are turned off. The selector doesn't have any setting to enable or disable that would cause this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is actually a power saving feature. Just use the remote to turn on your switch when you turn on your TV. It's a two second step that'll save your a couple pennies a month and extend the life of your switch.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't believe there is a way to get around that. You can maybe try a different port on your television. The switch is a simple device so it uses power pulses from your devices to try to guess when to turn on or off. The power turning off is simply a power saving feature that the manufacture felt necessary to preserve the life of the product.
