• Change the output audio to PCM on the device with no sound or get better HDMI cables. Cheap cables cannot handle splitting the signal (in then out) on a switch.

• Check all setups on computer and monitor. There may be defaults that have to be changed.

• Do you have an AV receiver with HDMI settings in your menu? You need to set that setting for all your sources in some cases, check on that 1st. I bet that's your issue, good luck!
