• Yes, it works with multiple resolutions... since it's HDMI it has to work with anything high definition i.e. 720 P, 1080 P etc.

• Yes, But it will not provide above 1080P. Such as super HD. You'll need to get the one the supports that specific capability. 720 should be fine.
