“ok so this is on sale right now, and im thinking of picking it up for my pc setup. i have an external sound card with 5.1 dolby live support, optical, Left/Right(red/white) , c/sub, and rear ports. will this work? i want 5.1 surround for my games/movies”

Don't waste your time and money - worthless unit. Samsung failed to include any of the newer codec files needed to play newer video (bluray after 2015) so about 1/2 of those titles WILL NOT PLAY on this unit. I contected Samsung and found the last update was over a year ago and they still had no plans to include the codec files needed as they are now in the newer machines. This uniot was originally built in 2015 without the necessary files. Stay away from this unit.
