• Imeaus, The system is designed to work specifically with the speakers that are included. It's possible, but if the speakers require more power than the supplied speakers, it may draw more power and not function as optimally. --Mr. S

• There are only connections enough for the 5 speakers that came with the Samsung system. So to answer your question, you cannot add speakers. However, you can use your speakers instead of the ones that came with it. I originally had an LG HTIB where the speakers were better that what came with the Samsung. So instead of having to pull out the existing LG speakers which are already neatly mounted on the walls, I just kept them and connected them to the Samsung receiver. The LG speakers where within specs of the output from the Samsung output anyway.
