“Will this play sound while watching apps through a Smart TV I have a Samsung smart TV and use those apps to watch shows and movies. Will the sound come through the speakers while watching through the SmartTV apps if I am in TVsound mode?”

• Since they're both connected with the HDMI cable, any sound from the TV will come thru the theatre system. This home theatre also includes Hulu, YouTube, Netflix, and other online video services.

• Yes. Once if finds the tv it plays all audio playing off the tv. Best surround sound I've ever owned tho

• Yes, although the unit probably has all the same smart apps that your tv does, so you could make it work either way.
