They will try and repair it first and if that gets too costly they will replace it. I just had my GX series77” oled tv replaced after a failed repair with a G3 series77” oled tv. If they have to replace the whole front panel they will probably replace the tv depending on how much it costs. Hope that helps. Took awhile but all turned out great.

When you call that number you will be given a chance for either a swap, one like your tv or similar or store credit which will include the price of the tv being swap plus tax [Example offer a tv worth $850.00 to swap, or with store credit you get $850.00 and tax come out around $937.00] Everything will be explain it will be quick. I did the store credit plus tax came out to $937.00. I upgraded got a new tv and upgraded to an Oled TV and 5 more years protection plan for $1318.00, which I got the TV on sale. was $1300.00 got it for $999.00.
