A:AnswerYou're better off mounting it yourself or hire someone different than Geek Squad. Also they charge a very large amount for mounting. As far as the warranty service is the Best you never pay a penny unless you have to have the entire tv replaced then on the new tv you have to re purchase the warranty
A:AnswerI called the 800 number to file a claim, they were able to find my information and file a claim for geek squad to deliver me a brand new television similar to what I had but a 2025 model
A:AnswerI have an online account and I’ve always received an email when my renewal was about to end, asking if I wanted to renew it! But you can always go to the store or create an online account to check the status of your protection plan.
A:AnswerNo...they don't come out to check the TV. In my case I simply told them about the grid lines showing up in the picture and they took action based on that alone. In both cases i was given back the total amount I spent on the tv which I then purchased a new TV. I was also allowed to keep the failing tv until the screens went totally black.
A:AnswerI also received in email as I requested it, do as I do scan your receipts and put them in a fold labeled warranty receipts. Put the name of the scan as what’s warranted, when it’s expired, date purchased and it’s easier to keep track.
