That link above by the responder who posted the link with ....cnet... in it, has a very good article about refresh rates and how most manufacturers list their refresh rates—as double or—more than what the panels' native refresh rate actually is, reason being, bigger numbers = more sales. A practice referred to, in the cnet article, as fake news/fake marketing.
