A:Answer The M507-G1 has a native 60Hz refresh rate, which Vizio lists as a 120Hz Effective Refresh Rate. The 16 zone full array back lighting is responsible for how the native rate is improved and perceived as 120Hz by the viewer. The color saturation is impressive for an affordable mid-range wide screen set, thanks to Vizio including Quantum pixels on both the M and P series in 2019. The colors appear modestly more impressive than a P55-F1 I purchased over the summer for a different room, but I'm genuinely pleased with both. The P-Series has a native 120Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz Effective Refresh Rate, if that's something you're determined to find. The only LED set in the 49-50" size range with an actual (native) 120Hz refresh rate that I found after considerable research is the LG SM8600. While I considered the LG for that reason, it's nearly twice as expensive, and the Vizio's Quantum dot color display is more dramatic and impressive.
