It's good for $15 worth of service. I know this sounds funny, but when you renew, you can call to negotiate for a much lower cost that the full annual rate; sometimes substantially lower. For example, they will offer you 6 months for $24.99; 1 year for $89.00; 5 months for $20.00 (these are all for Select) Or, $119. for a whole year of All Access. The $15.00 can be used to pay for a portion of these services. Someone answered that $15.00 is good for one month of service, which is true if you pay Full price without negotiating.

Nothing in particular.

It's just a $15 increment. Example: I used (2) $50 cards and (1) $15 card to pay a yearly bill of $112. * I do have $3 on my account now*
