We've been using prepaid cards for over 5 years. They got us by taking almost 200 out of my acct 3 days before Christmas and it took over a week to get back. I went online and changed the card # to an expired prepaid visa. That was the only way to take it off at the time. And we feed them prepaid cards. The day that Best Buy stops selling them is the last day we subscribe to Sirius.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was able to do exactly what you are wanting to do. I called Sirius xm and had them remove my cc on file because I wanted to use this prepaid card. Once that was done, I went to my account and redeemed my prepaid card. Even though the prepaid card covered all the charges it still seemed to want me to add a cc (I’m sure so they can automatically charge) I used the chat option and had them do what I wanted. So it can be done without a cc. I hope this helps
